When I stand before God at the end of my life,
I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left,
and could say,
"I used everything you gave me".
Erma Bombeck

I have always loved Erma Bombeck and this saying  holds so much meaning to me.
There is still so much I want to learn..........to try...........to accomplish as I watch the time on
" life's clock"
tick on.
How about you?
Have you discovered your many talents and used them all?

At the age of 70, I have so many things I want to do before time takes my eyesight, the dexterity of my hands; so I'm trying to catch up with things I have started. I'm already getting slower.

I think you can truly say to God that you have used your abilities in your wonderful work.

Sweet post!

Erma Bombeck taught me that I don't need to eat the overripe bananas, I can eat the pretty yellow ones. I miss her humor, she was one of a kind.

You sure use yours! You make such beautiful pieces!

Working a full time job does not leave me a lot of free time to pursue the hobbies I love. I think I do the best I can with what I have. And I also hope that one or two talents are reflected in my work with children.

Every day I ask myself why I am here? What is my purpose? What should I or could I be doing? I think there are some of us who feel that way all our lives and hope that we are doing our best along the way. If I can do one small kindness each and every day, then I hope I've accomplished something for the good. Each one of us has so many talents we can be using in so many different ways. Have a super Saturday. Tammy

Erma Bombeck had a way of saying things truthfully, with humor and kindness.

What a fabulous quote! Thank you for this and such a lovely blog. I came to visit via Linda Stubbs at Prairie Flower Farm and am so glad to have found your blog. I'll be visiting often since I love embroidery.
